Why These Records Are Split
Idaho law allows access to many public jail and release records, but Teton County does not run its own adult jail. The Teton sheriff may hold the arrest and transport file, while Madison or Jefferson County may hold the booking and release ledger. IDOC operates the statewide Resident/Client Search for prison and felony-supervision records, and federal releases appear through the Bureau of Prisons. This site organizes those official routes, record-request steps, and supervision checks in one place.
What Is Collected Here
The material is arranged around the record custodian and the kind of release being checked.
- The home page provides the full named-person search and release-record path, supported by the Inmate Release Date, VINELink Release Check, and Parole / Probation pages.
- Separate facility pages explain the documented Teton relationships with Madison County Detention Center and Jefferson County Jail.
- Search instructions distinguish a live jail status from IDOC custody, community supervision, and a completed sentence.
- Request guidance identifies where to seek a release ledger or booking photograph and how the Idaho response process works.
Limits of This Private Resource
This is a privately run reference site. It has no connection to an Idaho sheriff, jail, court, corrections department, parole agency, or other government body.
- We cannot release, detain, or transfer a person.
- We cannot post bond, arrange visits, or send funds.
- We cannot provide legal advice.
- We cannot promise that every address, fee, or phone number remains current.
Only the office that created the record can confirm custody, charges, transfer, or release. Links here help locate that office, but they do not replace its answer.
Third-Party Search Partners
Some search boxes are supplied by outside providers that control their own prices and results. If a visitor chooses a paid signup after using one of those tools, this site may receive a referral fee that supports free access to the reference pages. We do not set partner fees or control the records they return.
